Kashuks

Beatmaker and producer Kashuks represents the "Nabagi pilī" (paupers in the castle (Latv.)) rap collective and has been making music since 2007. However, he himself says he's started taking his first serious steps in music in 2009.

He's worked with many Latvian hip-hop artists by both original production and remixes; several of his non-hip-hop remixes have also resonated internationally. His sound is powerful and massive, mostly composed of a mixture of virtual synthesizers, samples and other instruments.

Kashuks has released several instrumental releases, one of whom was awarded the best instrumental album in the Annual Lativan Hip-Hop Awards. Currently Kashuks is concentrating on creating dubstep remixes for emittin different foreign musicians' songs in both gentler and more aggressive moods.

Despite his success, Kashuks believes he is in the very beginning of his musical career ladder.
